Some words from Lady J about her session:
“I never thought I would do a boudoir shoot. It isn’t on my bucket list and honestly didn’t cross my mind as something I would enjoy. I’m not a particularly sexual person, especially in any kind of public way, so I always viewed boudoir as something for other people, and I was fine with that.
I started becoming interested in a shoot when I saw that a friend of mine had shot with Chris and Becca. She was so excited to show off her new art and could not stop talking about how empowering the shoot was. Something about seeing someone like me look so good and be so happy with her photo shoot peaked my interest. And honestly I’m so glad it did.
Everything about my shoot with Chris and Becca was great. We talked through everything ahead of time so I felt completely prepared. They helped me pick outfits, handled hair and makeup, and explained that Chris is normally the one who models the poses which made me a lot less nervous.
On the actual day of the photo shoot, I felt like a superstar. And now, I have so many amazing photos that I can look back on whenever I need a boost. My favorite photo is hanging above my dresser in my room. I never thought I would take a photo like that, let alone display it. Now it’s one of my favorite parts of my house.”
During her planning phone call when discussing what she thought of as confident and sexy, one of the things she connected with was Catwoman and other superheroes. The sexy cutouts bodysuit is an amazing piece from BlackMilk Clothing, and had amazing Catwoman vibes.
Her second outfit was a classic lace bra and panty set with a twist. The black lace was accented with edgy details like the extra straps. We love the way her colorful hair just pops out of the photos and really stands out!
And of course, what’s more sexy than being confident in your own skin. Thank you for the kind words and an amazing session Lady J, you totally rocked it!
