Lady A started her session repping her and her husband’s favorite team. I’m sure those of you from Boston recognize a number 12 New England Jersey! But you don’t often get to see a jersey worn so incredibly well, even right in the heart of Boston.
We often get asked about what kinds of outfits should be worn for a boudoir session. One of the things we do ahead of each session is have a conversation over the phone, where we can offer tailored recommendations for what will be best for you personally! Some women choose to rep their or their partners favorite sports team for one outfit. This is an awesome way to begin your session, and then we love to move into at least two other unique outfits.
Lady A wanted to have an album created for her future husband as a gift on their wedding day, so for her next outfit did a more bridal look with killer heels.
Ending with cutout black bottoms proves that sometimes less is more – although her first two outfits were ones she thought her future husband would love, Lady A wanted to finish her session with an outfit more for herself.
Lady A brought her A game.
And by the way, we have people sometimes call and ask about “getting naked, but not nude photography.” Similar to some of these final photos from Lady A’s shoot, we call them “implied nudes.” We always talk through everyone’s comfort levels throughout the planning process – whether it’s implied nudes, full nudes, or staying more covered up, we want to make sure you’re getting everything you want from the experience. So often many of the women we work with end up surprising themselves with just how much they can pull off!
